When I first met Thomas Alwin Müller, the illustrator and "father" of the Mopf, he showed me one of his "characters". It was small, cuddly, and a truly friendly smile lit up its face.
I smiled back and asked ‘What is that?’ – The answer to my question was: ”That’s the Mopf!”
Then Thomas A. Müller explained that the Mopfes live in Mopfingen and sleeps in sleeping slippers.

With the Mopf the sensitive illustrator and graphic designer has created a character that communicates through smiling. And, the Mopfes seem to be springing from his pen at any time and situation.
The Mopf has just as much empathy and is as sensitive and creative as his inventor, who graduated from the Akademie für Kommunikation, Gestaltung Fachrichtung Grafik-Design (Academy for Communication and Design, Graphic Design) in Stuttgart.

With the yellow creature ”its father” created a possibility to introduce plenty of new accents.

In adult education, in children’s textbooks, as a jolly character, for alluding to the saying with the apple, and as a distinctive character which makes viewers and readers reflect.
The Mopf communicates on a kind and easy but memorable level.

"The Mopf isn’t a being that agitates, the Mopf inspires!", says Thomas A. Müller in a conversation.
"Thus, I am looking for sponsors who appreciate the Mopf for what it can do best: Soothe, impart, address, attract interest and give advice caringly. ‘To be ‘mopfy’ means to me: Showing that it doesn’t take destructive attitude but kindness to change the world", Thomas Müller adds.

The illustrator regards the Mopf as a mediator. It offers the viewers precise conclusions and joy and nurtures the sentiments of the heart. Consultants, coaches, and lecturers can use the character as a popular figure and assistant for presentations and publications.
